The Art Of Throwing Knives/Needles(Spikes)?
So this is something I’ve wanted to know for quite some time now.
How does a throwing knife ‘Work’?
What Differs It from a normal knife?
Whats It’s History?
_________
And Then Throwing Needles,
How do they work?
Ive seen them thrown through glass, while moving with the tapered end only moving in a straight line?
Is this from how you throw the needle or is this how the needle is made
I think its from Eastern Asia but I’m not overly sure

Is there a website where you can buy needles and knives??
Is there a website that can teach you how to throw them?

I know this is all very martial arts but i really wanted to know,
Thanks!!
how does a throwing knife work
basically you just throw it in a arc that is perpendicular to the ground basically your arm is goes through a motion like this( I ) if it was to the side at all that will make things harder(and we do not want that) and just released at a certain point it is sorta like swinging the knife but releasing at the proper point it will rotate this will always happen so you will have to learn the particular mechanics and technique for your particular knife(some people can calculate it mentally for any knife without consciously thinking but that is sorta rare) it generally takes about 5000 throws to begin gaining skill and your first thousand will be pretty terrible
it can be any knife any knife can be thrown but generally it helps if they are balanced and being made of durable materials is generally best (meaning solid steel) however that is not always necessary they tend to not be as sharp as normal knives so that they last longer and you would want a good strong steel for the blade
history their are lots of histories to that however it is mostly a fancy trick done to show off than a real fighting skill due to the lack of dependability of it
as for throwing needles i do not know much about them but the people here who study bujican(i know i misspelled that) should have a detailed amount of information about the subject
as i recall though you can buy the knives on just about any knife selling website truswords.com is generally trustworthy and has good customer service
